Welcome to my Clan MacKinnon Site!
This site will try to connect the descendants of 3 brothers who came to the United States from the Isle of Skye, Inverness shire, Scotland in the late 1700's. They probably had more siblings but we have not learned their names. They are Hector McKinnon, Neill McKinnon and John McKinnon who was born shortly after their arrival in North Carolina. Gregory McKinnon who fought as a Loyalist and immigrated to New Brunswick, Canada after the Revolution, may also be a 4th brother.
Intermarried Surnames include Sinclair, Munn, MacIntosh, McLeod, Bain, Muse, McDearmid, Patterson, Taylor, and several others.
